Wonky Box ‘New Zealand’s Wonkiest Fruit’ Competition Terms and Conditions (“Terms”)
- The promoter of the competition is Wonky Box, 8 Ron Driver Place, East Tāmaki, Auckland 2013.
- This competition is open to individuals who participate in the ‘New Zealand’s Wonkiest Fruit’ competition on the official Wonky Box Instagram page between 7 June and 28 June (“competition period”).
- By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these Terms. Any entry not complying with these Terms is invalid.
- Entries must be received during the competition period.
- Entries must be entrants’ original photograph or video, and not generated by AI software or taken from other sources on the internet without the creators’ consent.
- This competition is open to 18+ year old NZ residents only.
- Valid entries from eligible entrants will automatically go into consideration. Two winners will be selected at Wonky Box’s discretion and notified by 5 July.
- To enter, share an Instagram post of your wonky fruit and tag @wonkybox.nz, or send the imagery of your wonky fruit directly to @wonkybox.nz as a private message, or email hello@wonkybox.nz. Make sure you are following Wonky Box’s Instagram page.
- By submitting a photo as part of the Competition, entrants grant Wonky Box the right to use and distribute the photo for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website and email communications, in perpetuity.
- The prize available is:
- One month supply of Wonky Box Fruit Boxes (4 boxes)
- Wellington Chocolate Factory Berry Bundle
- Plain and Simple Ceramics fruit bowl
- Poppy and Sage fruit candles
- Bag of Blue Frog Breakfast Granola
(“Prize”). The Prize cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person unless agreed to by the Promoter.
If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Winner will be notified by Wonky Box through our official Instagram account, @wonkybox.nz or emailed from hello@wonkybox.nz, depending on mode of entry.
- Winner will have 72 hours to accept the prize before we choose a different winner.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wonky Box will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury or death incurred or sustained as a direct or indirect result of winning or using the Prize. Wonky Box will not be liable for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, epidemic, fire, floods, acts of God or acts of government.
- Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of Wonky Box to enable it to administer the competition and publicise the winner. The personal information of the winner may be provided to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information as described. Entrants may contact Wonky Box at the address given above to request access to, or correction of, any of their personal information that is collected and held by Wonky Box. If an entrant does not provide accurate personal information Wonky Box may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. All entries become the property of Wonky Box.
- These terms may be updated or modified by us (provided this doesn't materially prejudice anyone who has already entered the competition) and were last updated on 31 May 2024.
