What kind of products will I find?

You'll find four main categories:

• Last Harvest – Our discounts and clearance range where you can pick up a good deal! This is where we showcase last-chance products, special offers, and limited-time finds that are too good to miss.
• Wonky Pantry – Everyday essentials like sauces, snack bars, pastas, coffee, cookies and more! Some from up incoming small NZ owned and operated brands with ethical and sustainable values like ours. Some with a Wonky twist, including rescued and responsibly sourced staples. Think short-dated stock, overproduction and packaging flaws. Every pantry item is handpicked to help you stock the pantry with purpose.
• Refillables – Pantry staples in compostable packaging – grains, pulses, dry goods – simple to store and easy to refill. Everything comes in paper bags (or compostable liners where needed) with no soft plastic. Just the cupboard classics that make sense, delivered alongside your seasonal superstars.
• Fridge Fillers – Butcher-quality, ethically farmed meat from local producers; artisan cheeses and deli items like chilled pasta, olives, and deli meats.

There's no extra delivery fee – everything arrives together with your Wonky Box in the same delivery. However, if you order individual chilled products (not including the NZ Farmers Boxes), you will be charged a chilled packaging fee to cover the cost of the sustainable WOOLPACK wool insulation and reusable ice packs needed to keep your items fresh in transit.

Absolutely. We're starting with a carefully chosen selection and will grow the range based on what you actually use and love. Keep an eye out for new additions – from seasonal specials to wildcards that cross our desk.

Not at all. Your Wonky Box is your regular subscription, but Good Groceries items are completely optional add-ons. Add what you need when you need it – there's no pressure to order extras every delivery.

Yes. Think of your Wonky Box as the ticket to the show – and for now, that ticket is the only way into Good Groceries by Wonky. Your Wonky Box is the entry pass, and once it's in your basket, you can top up with anything from our grocery range.

Not everything's wonky, but everything's good. We started with surplus sprouts and curly cucumbers, but now we offer more. Some products are diverted from waste. Others support small producers or better farming. Some are just pantry essentials we've sourced responsibly or saved from being binned due to damaged packaging. Food waste still drives everything we do, but we've broadened our definition of "good" to include responsibly sourced options that align with our values.

Every product in Good Groceries by Wonky meets at least one of these criteria:

• Rescued from waste (our core DNA)
• Supports New Zealand producers or makers
• Ethically farmed or produced
• Minimised packaging or plastic-free
• Responsibly or sustainably sourced

From fridge to fruit bowl, pantry to petals, it's your one-stop shop for food that's fresh, fair, and full of flavour. We've evolved from food rescue specialists to a broader, more thoughtful grocer, offering ethically sourced products, small local producers, refillable pantry essentials, and our rescued range alongside our core wonky mission.
